Bluebeard (1944)

Slow, dull horror that doesnt pick up til close to the hour mark. John Carradine plays a puppetier that doubles as the elusive Bluebeard, a serial killer stalking the Paris streets and strangling women. Nothing happens, then his assistant finds out his secret and aims at exposing him. If strangulations and puppet shows frighten you, this is your bag, otherwise skip it.
