Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1920)

Humanist Dr Jekyll develops a serum to unleash his base desires and live a sinister double life as Mr Hyde, but the evil in him takes control and throws his life into a downward spiral. Typical silent film overacting, but it offers great visual storytelling, good set design, good pacing, and frightening makeup. The sexuality is pretty surprising considering the time. Another classic from the silent era, recommended!
