Garbage Day: Bone Sickness (2004)

There is an above ground pool in this movie, which couldnt describe the film itself any better. Sure, its fun for a couple of minutes, but you grow tired of it real fast. You have to give director Paulin an A for effort, as he obviously knows the genre and what fans want to see, but theres only so much bad acting, lighting, directing, dialogue, and editing one can take. The gore scenes are good, zombie FX range from good to ok, and now we know who bought all the Koolaid. To his credit though, I couldnt have made this film on my handicam. There is a huge fanbase for this film, but I just dont get it. It is very ambitious, but that alone doesnt make it a good film. A young woman uses bone marrow transplants to try to revive her dying husband, but it has undeadly results, then theres some goblins or something. Recommended for $0 budget zombie fans, I just really didnt care for the film.

Rating: 4/10.
Gore: 8/10.
