Boa Vs Python (2004)
Theres really nothing to say about this one. If you liked Boa or Python in all their abusive CG / acting glory, then this is a must-see for Giant Animals Attack The SciFi Channel fans. If you do not meet those pre-requisites, avoid. The two colossal snakes face off in a water treatment plant while picking off two opposing groups of idiots that are trying to subdue them, and by trying to subdue, I mean sacrificing themselves. The CG is better than the previous films, but dont buy into the cover art of the snakes being the size of towers with helicopters shooting missiles at them and naked chicks running around. Bland acting, retread giant monster plot, and more useless dialogue than action.

I AM A TRUE SUCKER FOR THIS STUFF, I LOVED PYTHON...
ReplyDeleteI own Python 1 and 2, need to grab Boa, but they are guilty pleasures I hide under the mattress
ReplyDeleteCarl...sorry this is off topic, but i just spotted this news snippett on bloody-disgusting.com. Thought it might be of interest...if it had any detail...lol
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing more frustrating than being teased with a new project and having zero information released, especially when the description is so incredibly vague. This evening Variety reports that Universal Pictures has made a big-bucks deal to acquire an untitled Mattel toy property for a live-action musical film that aspires to add a fresh twist to monster lore. That's it, that's all you get. The duo will reunite with the "Hairspray" team of Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman to write the score. Mattel would not reveal the name of the toy line or when it will launch.
B vs P is a good pick, in my book. I love all the lame-ass cheesy hunters that they bring in to try and take down the first snake... the one guy is this total cheap (or cheapER) version of Vin Diesel / 'Riddick'. Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI still prefer Shark Attack 3 for a grade A grade F film, but I cant WAIT to see Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus, I still love these cheesy ass giant animal flicks.
ReplyDeleteEverlost I cant even IMAGINE what they could be talking about that would make for a monster musical.. As much as I like a good mystery, they suck lol..
I enjoyed this one actually, and as a bonus to keep you watching, they put soaped up tits in the first few minutes. Good call!
