Contamination .7 (1990)

Nuclear waste is being illegally dumped in the forest, which causes the roots and vines to come to life and begin killing the locals! CONTAMINATION .7 is more recognizable under its alternate title, TROLL 3, despite the fact that neither of the TROLL sequels have anything to do with the original (or each other) in any way. The one thing that TROLL 2 and TROLL 3 do have in common is that they are consistently terrible from start to finish. Joe D'Amato wastes no time in ripping off Sam Raimi's "ram-o-cam," while basing most of the kills on the notorious forest scene in EVIL DEAD. The film is a trial in patience and bad acting that relies on its hefty death toll to maintain the audience's interested. Unfortunately, it only features one bloodless kill after another where none of the victims fight back and most of them inexplicably die as soon as the vines grab their legs. CONTAMINATION .7 only has a few moments worth watching for, and each of them involve one character patronizing another with humiliating laughter.

Rating: 4/10.

  1. Hey, the two films also share one other thing: they both feature inexplicable and dark twist endings. I won't say what, but man does it make no sense!

Seriously though, this film sucks balls.

  2. I couldnt help myself after reading your review man, it was like a bad movie tractor beam!

  3. Yeah, I do that.

    I should probably feel bad...but I don't.

  4. You can cry your way back home to REVENGE OF THE LIVING DEAD GIRLS buwahaah

  5. If you knew what I was planning for Round Two of Project Terrible, you wouldn't be laughing.

I'll partake in one though: MU-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!
