This group of stoned-out roommates won't know what hit them when the evil spirit possessing their new bong goes on a soul-sucking rampage in order to bring itself back to life in Full Moon's EVIL BONG! Charles Band has assembled the perfect bunch of burnouts to hatch this hare-brained scheme, with entertaining performances from David Weidoff, John Patrick Jordan, Mitch Eakins, Brian Lloyd, and of course, Tommy Chong as Jimbo. EVIL BONG is like HALF-BAKED for Horror fans, delivering all of the stupid humor one would expect from a film with its title. It is too bad that the limited budget makes this such a claustrophobic production, since the characters and plot are locked into a single shooting location. Still, Band does as much as he can to expand on the small apartment by working Full Moon favorites like Bill Moseley, Tim Thomerson, and Sonny Davis into the story for a few more laughs. Also watch out for cameos by The Gingerdead Man, Jack Attack, and Ooga Booga from the Full Moon universe! It only seems odd that an 'Evil Bong' would get you super stoned before magically transporting you to a creepy strip joint limbo filled with hot naked chicks? Evil Bong, or The Awesomest Bong Ever? What it lacks in polished professionalism, EVIL BONG more than makes up for in silly fun, making it a worthwhile watch for the average B-movie fan.
